COMMUNITY HOUSES

People who are homeless and requiring support to obtain independent housing and enhanced access to community including:-

  • Single Women with Children
  • Single Men with Children
  • Couples with Children
  • Other family groupings with children
  • CAP
  • SAAP
  • LEAC Inc
 Nambour, Sunshine Coast Region
  • Short term accommodation up to 12 weeks
  • 5 houses, 1 duplex including one disability modified unit.
  • Access to qualified staff at public office and regular home visits.
  • 24 hour on-call support roster to respond to emergencies.
  • Ranges from high to low levels of holistic support dependent on individual and family needs.
  • Family Support
  • Child Support
  • Counselling
  • Groupwork
  • Information, Advocacy and Referral Services
  • Services are delivered in collaboration with government and community service partners.
TRANSITIONAL HOUSING

People who are exiting from SAAP accommodation and requiring support to obtain independent housing and enhanced access to community including:-

  • Single Women with Children
  • Single Men with Children
  • Couples with Children
  • Other family groupings with children
 Nil Nambour, Sunshine Coast Region
  • Medium term accommodation from 6 months - 2 years
  • One transitional house
  • Access to qualified staff at public office and regular home visits.
  • Tenancy managed through Sunshine Coast Regional Housing Council.
  • Ranges from high to low levels of holistic support dependent on individual and family needs.

  • Child Support
  • Counselling
  • Groupwork
  • Information, Advocacy and Referral Services
  • Services are delivered in collaboration with government and community service partners.
