Crisis Housing

We provide supported short-term emergency accommodation to single women, single men who have overnight or extended contact with their children and families in crisis.

Housing Options

  • A shelter comprising 2×3 and 4×2 bedroom, self-contained units for women and children escaping Domestic and Family Violence. One of these units is disability accessible. The shelter provides safety and security at a confidential address. It is a 7 day, 24hr service and staff are contactable by pager after office hours for admission and in emergencies.
  • 7 houses in the community for families. One of these units is disability modified.
  • 8×2 bedroom units primarily for single women, small familiesĀ and single men who have contact with their children.
  • 1 transitional house providing longer term support for families moving from SAAP crisis housing.

All SAAP housing is fully furnished

A fee for accommodation is chargedĀ calculated on a person’s/family’s income.
