Values and Mission
The type of organisation we strive to be is expressed in our vision:
“…to be a well resourced, inclusive and client-centred service that works from a strengths based perspective to support people to achieve their goals as individuals and as families.
To improve clients’ access to education, information and resources so that people exit the service feeling a sense of hope, that they are fully able to participate in their community and that they have a voice to educate decision-makers on the issues that are impacting upon them.
To incorporate a rights based approach to practice, acknowledging Human Rights and the Rights of the Child.
To work collaboratively with government and community partners to address the structural factors which contribute to homelessness and domestic and family violence, utilising community development principles.”
The philosophical base of our organisation guides all aspects of service delivery.
The philosophy of our Service is:
“…to provide a client centred service which responds to people with respect and dignity at all times.”
